This unique event offers a chance to take your feet on a tour of rolling country roads & trails — right in the heart of gorgeous Northumberland hills. You choose the pace.
The Dave Down Bridge Hospice Run/Walk honours the legacy of local hero Dave Down, who did much for so many.
The Routes
The 13K (8-Miler) is a beautiful and somewhat challenging running route with a number of trails.
The 5K Run & Walk takes in the Millennium Trail and loops up to Norham and back. Walkers not up for the full 5K can step off the course at any time. All welcome – including friendly leashed dogs.
The Kids 1K is on soccer fields and the Millennium Trail.
All participants will receive an ankle chip for Splits Timing.
The Bridge Hospice
The event is a fundraiser for The Bridge Hospice. Serving Northumberland County and greater region, this extraordinary 3-bed home is a warm and welcoming place where people in their final days receive compassionate care and their loved ones are supported – all at no charge.
