Walter, our St.John’s Ambulance Therapy dog, visits weekly with his handler Leslie.
He offers friendship and canine comfort to anyone who wishes.
SPIRITUAL CARE/SUPPORT

SPIRITUAL CARE/SUPPORT

We have several contacts in our local communities who support our residents and their family members while at the hospice.  If you already have an advisor/support person, they are of course more than welcome to visit.

INDIGENOUS NAVIGATOR

INDIGENOUS NAVIGATOR

Kathy MacLeod-Beaver is available to support individuals who identify as having Indigenous ancestry; First Nation, Metis or Inuit heritage; and/or have Indigenous cultural needs.  She can connect people with cultural and translation services, and positively impact palliative/end-of-life journeys by helping to support and honour traditions and cultural needs.

MASSAGE THERAPY PROGRAM

A registered Massage Therapist offers 30-45 minute massage therapy sessions to our residents, their families, our care providers, and our active TBH volunteers, free of charge. Appointments are typically twice per month.
 GRIEF & BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
