The Bridge Hospice would like to thank every individual and community group that has contributed to our fundraising efforts!
Here is a sampling of recent contributions made through grants and special events.
BAPTIST BUSY BEES
A very special THANK YOU goes out to the Campbellford Baptist Busy Bees 🐝 for their most generous donation to The Bridge Hospice!
We welcomed “Busy Bees” Karen MacDonald, Thea Dunk and Ted Nicholas at the hospice today for a quick photo opp with our director Kerri-Anne and a hospice tour. 🐝
Thanks to the entire Baptist Busy Bee Hive for their hard work, dedication and contributions in support of The Bridge Hospice 🐝
PERCY CENTENNIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL
WOW! Percy Centennial students built the “Loonie Towers of Percy” and raised $1063 in support of The Bridge Hospice! The students also provided us with a very thoughtful list of suggested toys and items to update our children’s area. What a generous gesture and an impressive group of students! Thank you to Sandra Allanson Kelly and all the students at Percy!
CODRINGTON WOMENS INSTITUTE
Thanks to the Codrington W.I., we’ll now have a library of CDs from every era and genre, so our residents can reminisce with the music of their youth, whatever their preferences.
We’ll also have a broader selection of DVDs and audiobooks, so that residents and loved ones at bedside can share a movie or story. Thank you for your generosity!
CAMPBELLFORD LIONESS CLUB
A very special thank you to the Campbellford Lioness Club for their generous donation to the hospice at their 50 year celebration! Pictured: Bridge Hospice volunteer Brenda Partridge and Lioness Joan Sharp
TRENT HILLS MARTIAL ARTS
A HUGE thank you to Sensei Mark Englehart, Jennifer Gibson and all the folks at Trent Hills Martial Arts for donating the proceeds of their successful fundraiser to The Bridge Hospice! A total of $1550.10 was raised – wow!
BRIAN TODD MEMORIAL COMMUNITY FUND
Thanks to the Brian Todd Memorial Community Fund we now have a very handsome shed to safely and securely store our weekly recycling and waste. The added capacity will make such a difference at our busy hospice and it complements our home beautifully!
