Thank you!

The Bridge Hospice would like to thank every individual and community group that has contributed to our fundraising efforts!
Here is a sampling of recent contributions made through grants and special events.

ORDER OF THE EASTERN STAR

This week we were guests of the Order of the Eastern Star (Warkworth Chapter #279) at Percy Masonic Lodge.  Jean Bryan presented The Bridge Hospice with a cheque, which included proceeds from the Perfect Pie Contest.  David Smith surprised us with an additional donation from the former Colborne Chapter #82.  Thank you very much to the generous and community-minded Order of the Eastern Star!  From left: Brenda Partridge, Kerri-Anne Wilson, Worthy Matron Jean Bryan, Worthy Patron Al Bryan, and Worthy Patron David Smith.

SCHOOLHOUSE GARDENS

Tom Harris & Dennis Gebhardt, long-time TBH volunteers – not to mention incredibly talented gardeners – graciously opened their stunning Schoolhouse Gardens to the public on Father’s Day.  Tom & Dennis generously raised proceeds – a total of $355 – in support of The Bridge Hospice – thank you!

ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION BRANCH 380

WOW!  We were overwhelmed when our Warkworth Legion Branch dropped by to make a donation of $3000!  What a generous and unexpected gift from an extremely community minded organization.  Pictured with Kerri-Anne are Branch  President, Karen Deziel and member, Pippa Roberts.

PERCY CENTENNIAL PUBLIC SCHOOL

WOW!  Percy Centennial students built the “Loonie Towers of Percy” and raised $1063 in support of The Bridge Hospice!  The students also provided us with a very thoughtful list of suggested toys and items to update our children’s area.  What a generous gesture and an impressive group of students!  Thank you to Sandra Allanson Kelly and all the students at Percy!
